We have advertised for a Clubhouse Manager as the Cricket Club, reflecting an increase in the number of activities at the Pavilion and to create another income stream.

This role is an exciting one, a paid one and it is a new one and an important one.

Clubhouse Manager

CEECC is hiring a Club House Manager to support the growth of the Colchester and East Essex Club embarking on its 5-year plan to leverage and grow its facilities at the prestigious Castle Park. As part of these exciting plans, along with a recent extension and refurbishment, the club wishes to leverage this opportunity to make the clubhouse facilities amendable to the public and serve the community.

Key responsibilities (Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday) - April to September 2024

Help the club ensure cricket is available to all serving Colchester and East Essex community over the summer season 2024.

Lead, Manage and Create new internal and external bookings for CEECC.

Lead, identify and drive new events alongside CEECC Commercial committee.

Support the buildout of our local sponsors community programme and ensure new sponsors agreements are delivered.

Co-ordinate marketing (Instagram/Facebook/Whatsapp/Linkedin) increase club footfall - Players, Legends, Coaches, Families

Roll up sleeves to help behind the bar and instigate a food menu.

Work with schools liaison to maximise opportunities for young players by ensuring the club house use is maximised.

Initiate family nights and drive regular events at the club to increase usage.

Co-ordinate coaching schedules and coaching days.

Manage and lead on stocktaking, call outs and security of the club.

Ensure first aid / equipment is update to date and 1st aiders are on hand.

Characteristics

Self-starter, team player with energy, passion and drive to help the club grow.

Strong integrity to help the club build its reputation as a diverse and inclusive leader at the heart of the community.

Lead a number of growing volunteers prepared to support the club grow.

Food certification required to create a basic menu (breakfast, lite lunches, and afternoon teas) and able to work a bar. (Club will support for the right candidate)

CEECC will perform DBS checks as the role supports all the community.

Remuneration (6-month role)

Base salary + profit share on reaching KPI's.
