With the 2024 season upon us Colchester and East Essex Cricket Club, a Not-for-Profit entity, with charitable status, is embarking on an ambitious five-year plan and would welcome the services of a Treasurer (pro bono) for 4 hours a week to join the CEECC voluntary team in support of the club. CEECC has a long history in being at the heart of the Colchester Castle Park where it boasts first class cricket facilities and hosts Essex premier league games. We have thriving Mens, Ladies, Colts, and Junior sections and are expanding the teams in 2024 to accommodate a 3rd team this season.

We are an inclusive club, seeking volunteers to help us give back to our community. There is never a dull moment at CEECC. We estimate the treasurer role will take about 3-4 hours per week maximum and the role is supported by a Commercial Committee that help the Treasurer with strategy, fund raising and sponsorship.

Ideally if you have an accountancy, treasury or audit background that would be excellent, but the club has volunteers across these areas too that are happy to lend a hand.

So, if now is the time when you can afford to give your time back 3-4 hours a week to help the club and the community grow and prosper, we would love to hear from you.
